I missed is AGAIN! I didn’t get the memo, didn’t see the billboard or any signs. Today was “Create your own parking space day!”
Damn! How come I never know this ahead of time?? I always seem to miss it, every day. That’s because every day it’s in a different place! Some days it’s in the Wellington Green Mall parking lot, other days it’s in Publix, sometimes it’s at the gym, but I never seem to get there on the right days when I’m able to create my own parking spot, and park wherever I damn well please, not worrying if I am blocking traffic or taking up an entire driving lane. No, I always end up parking in a parking space, along with the other people who also missed the notification.
I guess I’m not that special, huh? Seems that only one or two people are lucky enough to have the privilege of creating their own parking space and they’re better then all of us normal folk who actually park in a parking spot, get our asses out of the car and walk to wherever it is we need to go.
I’ll bet you’ve missed “Create your own parking space day” as well, unless of course, you are one of those people who gets to park wherever you want to and it doesn’t matter if you’re blocking people, causing a traffic jam or something, because you, of course, are special…aren’t you?
Or…perhaps there really isn’t a create your own parking space day and those people who do park wherever they damn well please are just inconsiderate assholes who think that they’re better then everyone else and they don’t have to park in an assigned parking space and then get off their ass and walk!? Maybe, they’re just too lazy to walk…you know, heaven forbid they should actually get some exercise.
